Knowing that failed projects are often the fault of poor project management, the Bath School of Management has introduced a new MBA interactive class. Instead of writing dissertations, students are asked to work through five projects throughout the year in several fields, working with real companies on projects. the students will be better prepared for graduation working at the head of projects and finding more success doing it. By focusing and thinking about diverse projects, students are ready for the real world.
- Project management failures are a big problem, to address this Bath School of Management has students work on real world problems.
- Students are left on their own to complete each project and given guidance between projects to help further their knowledge.
- Students benefit from having students from lots of other countries and backgrounds to learn from and exchange ideas with.
“If you can put that diversity in front of MBA students they will develop a great sense of what is happening in the world economy”
