this article questions brings to light that project managers, who do all of the basic task of CEOs, are rarely ever chose to become CEO’s themselves. Ceo’s come from different backgrounds such as finance, sales, and R&D, but usually do not come from project management. The author of this article makes a strong point that project managers possess many of the skills that make good CEOS such as planning, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills. One difference which makes good CEO’s is the popularity and charisma factor. Since CEO’s are strong leaders and the face of a company emotional intelligence is a must.
