Many people make New Year’s Resolutions with good intentions then quickly lose track of or abandon their goal. A good way to stick to resolutions is to make a monthly goal plan instead of an entire year or large, unfocused goal. A good way to do this is to break the goal down into manageable parts and set 3-5 monthly goals. Instead of feeling guilty or defeated if a deadline is missed, evaluate why it was missed and make changes for the next deadline. Goals can be broken down even more into weekly to-do lists.
