10 Reasons You Should Go to Bed Early and Get Up Early

January 27, 2017 By Robert M Leave a Comment

Going to bed early and getting up early is a great habit for everyone to have that has many benefits. By rising early, you get a head start on everyone else and pack more work in a day than your peers. By going to bed early, you are giving your body the rest it needs to accomplish the demanding tasks of the coming day. A final benefit of rising early is that both creative and contemplative thinking can take place. During normal business hours, the hustle and bustle of the workflow can interfere with this.

Key Takeaways:

  • I use the early morning hours for writing, planning, and working out. These are my top tasks of the day. And the ones that usually get pushed aside by the hustle and bustle of the day.
  • Staying up late usually don’t produce the same results for me as an early start.Getting up early gives you a head start on most of the world. You get to begin your day while everyone else is still asleep
  • This is one of the best time management truisms ever. Those who get up early, get a head start before everyone else. I get more done in the early morning hours than many people get done all day.

“Getting up early gives you a head start on most of the world. You get to begin your day while everyone else is still asleep. As well, you can get your most important tasks done before the business of the day overtakes your priorities.”
