$1 million wasted every 20 seconds by organizations around the world

A new study has shown that about 1/3 of corporate projects around the world do not meet their stated goals or targets, resulting in a huge amount of wasted capital from these efforts. The study by the Project Management Institute estimated that $1M is wasted through these inefficient efforts every twenty seconds. The collective impact over the course of a year, then, comes to over $2 trillion, money that could have been otherwise used to create significant value.
